ESIP Data Management Short Course

The Federation of Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP), in cooperation with NOAA and the Data Conservancy, has developed a "Data Management Short Course", made up of a series of modules that seek to improve the understanding of scientific data management among scientists, emerging scientists, and data professionals of all sorts.

The short course modules cover a range of topics including preparing a Data Management Plan, file naming best practices, backing-up data, data formats, documentation, data sharing, and many others.
